The Dawson's visit the Great Pacific Northwest for the very first time
After 3 long and arduous weeks of drying out, Uncle Donny gets his first coffee......and man, oh man was it good!!

The first coffee was served in a tiny little town called Sullivan, CA and the name of the coffeehouse was Common Grounds (ironic, ain't it - that was the name that we considered for our coffee house)

Driving north on route 5 - from San Francisco to Eugene, OR - this is Mt. Shasta - 14,000 Feet above sea level

This is where we stayed our 1st night in Portland - it's an old school called the Kennedy School. It's basically a city unto itself - bars, restaurants, cigar bars, movies, hotel rooms - it was wonderful!

We stayed in the Bird Room, which really had birds squawking around the ventilation system. Aunt Donna wanted the head board from our bed. It's from Indonesia.

When we reached Seattle, we stayed at a hotel in the business district - It's hard to tell but there are 2 starbucks in this picture - see if you can find the second one.
