The day after the fireworks, Saxton's River has a parade and day filled with games, vendors and family fun. Claire entered the Hula-Hoop contest. Last year she came in 3rd.

Check out that technique - that mastery - you see, Claire would hula hoop, uninterupted for 1 hour and 50 minutes. She did an amazing job - only one other girl, Danielle out did her. But Claire had twice the hula-hoop revolutions represented her state of CT with great pride and honor.

The Dawson's brought the pups down the river for a quick swim with Topher, Ana, Claire and Aunt Amanda

And Claire, Anabel and Topher made a new friend at the Saxton's River Inn. His name is Red. He's a cocker spaniel and quite a friendly little guy.
